The Country Club of Roswell has once again partnered with Travis West Development, a company that specializes in country club renovations. This same team updated Roswell’s ballroom, kid’s club space, meeting room/reception, and men’s and women’s fitness/tennis locker rooms, and tennis area. In addition, just last summer, they built the poolside bar and splashpad, which have received rave reviews! For this update, the team is tackling the lobby, food and beverage areas: Member bar/lounge, and dining room, along with adding a new fire pit to the Turn patio.
General Contractor Jason Cash with Orion Design + Build, Inc. stated, “Since 2012, Travis, Bethany, and I have completed 70 country club projects, 20-25 together as a team. This is a niche industry, and our team provides Members with the finish level and design ideas they deserve.”
The Clubhouse boasts a nice layout, but the design was in need of an update. Lead Designer Bethany Deac stated, “Sometimes things just wear out. Neighborhoods and environments change. The Club needed a refresh and a fresh perspective in order to cater to their Members and guests. We really want to create new spaces which feel comfortable and reach all demographics.”
The team was tasked with expanding upon the club’s lively atmosphere while targeting highly used spaces. These areas target everyone from the young single who just joined, to long term members who have been with the Club for years. Bethany added, “When approaching the design, we like to look at it like a southern estate and highlighting the traditional elements. We really want members to interact and feel comfortable hanging out with their friends, just like they would when entertaining in their own home. Roswell members are active and like to have a good time. We want to cater toward that.”
As we’ve all heard, supply chain issues continue to wreak havoc on construction projects across the US. When asked about this issue, Project Lead Travis Arbogast stated, “We’ve had to plan ahead and accordingly. We’ve made some reselections to ensure everything gets done and we have been making purchases well in advance, ensuring we are proactive and diligent.”
Country Club of Roswell General Manager Lauren Kuhl is excited to have these spaces updated and added, “Our Members are eager to see the final product! When these projects are complete, nearly every space will have been updated. Having only been a Concert Golf Club for two years, it’s exciting to see these capital projects prioritized.”
